After spending about 4 hours on the phone with Apple Support just to realize I wasn't going to be able to take the next remedial steps I started looking for local tech support near Rhinebeck. Javier was the first person to return my call and the only one able to help. I was in his Hopewell office the next day dropping my computer off for a new hard drive. Unable to get back down to his office 40 minutes away, Javier delivered my fixed computer to my home for a nominal fee on the 26th. He charged me no more than he said he would: the cost of the new SSD and his very reasonable labor for installing it. Everything worked well. For a day. Even though the glitch turned out to be the brand new SSD which was outside of his control, Javier assumed responsibility of the situation and replaced the faulty SSD with a brand new one, at no cost to me. I was and am very grateful to Javier for looking after me. I was able to collect my fixed Mac before leaving the country for several months - hence the delayed review. But now I can testify that my mac has been working perfectly ever since Javier fixed it 5 months ago. Javier and his lovely wife Karen make an honest, professional, trust-worthy, and courteous partnership. I'd return to them if I needed help with my computer again, and I recommend them highly.read less
