When my hard drive died, I took my laptop to JK Techs on the recommendation of a long time client of theirs. From the beginning of our interaction I appreciated their small business customer service. Karen updated me along the way, was honest about what I could expect, and despite my problem happening a week before Christmas, she called with good news the Friday before the holiday to put me at ease. While the data rescue wasn't at that moment complete, it was working! Karen saved all my data. She gave me a choice of replacement drives, which I greatly appreciated because I'm happy to have a SSD, but wouldn't have thought to ask. And I felt the price for their services was incredibly fair. - Very good service. I got my desktop fixed with them. NO headache! Just a little slow than what I expected. but, that's ok. I have a laptop home to use instead. Fair price, 100 usd. They give you 30 days warranty as well. They have a lot of pcs to fix everyday, you have to wait in the line. So, be a little patient. It might take 3 days or more. I will go back to them again....but hopefully, my pc won't break down any moreread more

- I have a pc laptop with a touch screen. I dropped it and the screen broke. I called around and hands down Javier was responsive, accessible, and willing to work with me to find the right screen at the best price. This was not a simple fit and took some research on his part. He knows the landscape very well and understands service and fair pricing. As soon as the part came in he was able to fix it that day within 45 minutes. Sent an email to (4) Computer Repair businesses looking for service. Javier responded with a text and said he would call at 10am, which he did. Still waiting for the other (3) to respond. That says a lot about his business. Made arrangements to drop off my desktop for repairs and upgrades. Javier and Karen were courteous and knowledgeable. Service, parts and associated fees were explained and seemed reasonable. When I came back to pick up the computer, Javier spent the time to review what he did and made sure I was comfortable with the upgrades before I left the shop. I can't vouch for them fixing anything for me, but I happened to go In right around closing because I needed a screen protecter for my iPhone (I had taken my scratched and dirty one off only to realize I had bought the wrong size to put back on). Even though they should have been closing the guy was super nice and helpful. He put the screen guard on for me too which was amazing because I HATE putting those stupid things on, haha. I'd go back for sure if I needed something elseread more
